The first day of school will be here soon! To ease the first day jitters, new Holmes students (ALL 7th grade, NEW 8Th & 9th grade) are encouraged to attend transition time on Monday, August 24. Students should arrive between 7:30 and 7:50 a.m. Transition time will be gin at 8:00 a.m. Returning students may arrive at 9:15. Classes will start at 9:30 a.m.

Preschool families are welcome to visit classrooms for an open house during Input Conferences on Thursday, August 20th from 4:00-6:15 or Monday, August 24th from 8:45-11:00. Preschool teachers will be in contact with the preschoolfamilies to schedule a home visit beginning the week of August 17th. This does not replace home visits, you will still receive information about those from your preschool teacher. First day of preschool is Monday, August 31st!

On Monday, August 3rd high school schedules are open for viewing on students' PowerSchool accounts. Students will have access to viewing their 2026-2027 schedules by logging into PowerSchool.Schedule correction procedures will be implemented for the ‘26-’27 school year. These procedures allow for consistency amongst school counselors, equitability for all 1,300 students, and time for school counselors to meet other needs of students.
