Concurrent Classes *
Cedar Falls High School offers several “concurrent” classes. Because of a partnership with Hawkeye Community College, students may enroll in college-level courses taught during the regular school day. Upon successful completion of the course, students will earn both high school and college credit. Students are responsible for verification of credit acceptance at the post-secondary institution they attend. The website www.transferiniowa.org may be a helpful resource in determining transfer credits at the three Iowa Regents Universities and the Community Colleges. Students are also responsible for contacting Hawkeye Community College at 319-296-4045 to send the transcript to the post-secondary institution. Students will need to meet prerequisites of ACT and/or COMPASS score to enroll in these courses. See course descriptions for prerequisites.
