Grant Sponsored Activities in the Library

Thank you to the Cedar Falls Schools Foundation for awarding an Excellence Grant to the North Cedar Library. Hands-on, unplugged STEM actiivities for K-2 students were purchased with grant funds.  Some of the activities include   KEVA Junior Brain Builders Playsets, Open Ended Wooden Shape Puzzles, Playground Engineering & Design STEM Set, STEM Explorers Pixel Art Challenge, Air Toobz Sets, Gravity Maze, and Magnetic Drawing Boards.

Students have been utilizing the various supplies as centers and as activities for after Library lessons and checkout.  Thank you to the Foundation for providing these inspiring and hands-on STEM activities for North Cedar students.  They are sure to enjoyed for many years to come!
