Attention movie lovers and space fans! The astronomy club will be hosting a movie night tonight, at 6:00 on the Learning Stairs. We'll be watching the movie "Arrival" starting at 6:30, come early with $4 for snacks and crafts.
Have you ever wondered how scientists study how life forms in space? Come find out on Monday Jan 27 during Tiger Time at the Learning Stairs! UNI Astrobiology and Astrochemistry professor Dr. Sebree will be giving a brief overview of his research and how he uses caves to study extreme ecosystems. Then on Wednesday Jan 29 after school by the Learning Stairs he'll have his cave simulator to experience what it's like to squeeze through cave passages.
