Student Life Holmes Junior HighFor any 9th grade boys interested in playing Men’s Tennis during the 2026 season, there will be a players meeting after school at 3:15 PM, in the Jungle room at the High School on Friday, February 6. Please be at the meeting so that Coaches Suiter & Adams can give you information concerning the tennis schedule, practice schedule, ordering t-shirts & gear, and answer any questions you may have about the program. Again, the Men’s Tennis meeting will be at 3:15 PM, in the Jungle Room on Friday, February 6. If you cannot make the meeting, there will be a sign-up sheet in the Holmes office, and we will have a coach contact you directly.
7th grade boys basketball playing at Hudson today will be dismissed at 2:35.
Any 9th grade girls interested in golf should stop by the front office and get signed up. A meeting date will be announced soon.
Any student who is considering doubling up in science, taking an online math course, or accelerating to a course at a higher grade level, please come to Mr. Prouty's room during Tiger Time today. No sign up required, but do check in with your TT teacher.
Anyone interested in joining the Variety Show Tech crew, please come to a meeting in Mr. Prouty's room (49B) during Tiger Time on Wednesday, February 4th. No sign up is required. Contact Mr. Prouty if you are interested, but cannot attend.
Any 9th graders that are interested in participating in Trapshooting this spring should attend a meeting at the High School in the Industrial Technology Woods Lab. February 5th @ 3:15
Those that can't attend please contact Coach Grund or refer to the Team Stack App for information. On Monday, you can stop by the front office to get an information packet.
Any 9th grade boy interested in joining the Cedar Falls Boys rugby team, should fill out the form posted in schoology. There will be a preseason informational meeting on Wednesday, February 4th, at 3:15 PM in the high school cafeteria. If you would like to play but cannot attend the meeting, please reach out to Coach Piper at brentpiper@cfrugby.com. We hope to see you there!

Scheduling Sheets are due this week. All grades will receive Tiger Cup points based on the percentage of your class that turned it in by the due date. All scheduling sheets need to be turned in to the Counseling Office.

The Acceleration/Doubling Up form (due Wednesday) has been linked in Schoology. Future 9th grade students can find the Honors Form linked in their Schoology group.
