Please sign-up on this form to have your school picture taken on our picture re-take day, Wednesday, October 14.  We will send a pass to your period 1 class on October 14 with a time to report to the library for your picture to be taken. Did you miss picture day? Do you not want to have a yearbook photo with that funny face or blinking? Picture retake time will be during the late start time on Monday September 28. They will start at 8:00 a.m. and be done by 10 or when the last person is done has smiled for the camera.

Every Monday, Peet Junior High will start school at 9:30am and dismiss at 3:00pm.Tuesday-Friday, Peet Junior High will start at 8:00am and dismiss at 3:00pm.  We do not have early dismissal like the elementary buildings.

Every Monday, the Cedar Falls Community School District has a late start for secondary schools. Teachers and staff use this time for professional learning. When we have a delay due to weather issues we follow the Monday schedule. That means busses will also follow that schedule and food service is prepared for breakfast. 

SPIRIT WEEK DRESS-UP DAYS START SEPTEMBER 8The week of September 8-11 Holmes has dress-up days for Homecoming week. Students who participate earn points for their grade level team for the Tiger Cup Challenge. Last years winners got to spend an afternoon at Lost Island Theme Park. Previous years it has been a day at the movies, water park, or pool day at the end of the school year.
