Cedar Falls Schools is a member of the High School Esports League (HSEL) for the 2024-2025 school year. Players will have the opportunity to compete in a Fall, Winter, and Spring season throughout the school year. If you are interested in playing in the Winter Blitz Season, please complete this form.

The Winter Blitz Season will begin on January 13th, The team meeting for the Winter Blitz Season will be on Tuesday, January 7th. The season will run through the firsr part of February with the playoffs happening soon after that. The Winter Blitz is different from the other seasons becuase it is compated with each game being played twice each week.

We will compete at the CF Ambush Arena located on the bottom floor of Cohesive Creative and Code, Inc. at 807 East 18th Street, Cedar Falls, IA 50613. Contact Coach Brian if you are only able to compete from home. You will need to have the needed equipment and game licenses.

The following is information regarding the games that will be offered during the Winter Season.

• Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: License Provided (Nintendo Switch) Team of 2. Matches at 4pm on Mon & Wed.
• Valorant: Free license\,( PC Platform), Team of 5 Needed. Matches at 4pm on Mon & Wed.
• Rocket League: License Provided if Needed (PC Only), All Platforms, Crossplay compatibility between platforms, Team of 2 Needed. Matches at 4pm on Tue & Thu.
• Apex Legends: Free license, PC, PS4,, PS5, XBox, Nintendo Switch. Team of 3 Needed, Matches at 4pm on Tue & Thu.
• Mario Kart 8 Crew: License Provided (Nintendo Switch), Team of 4 Needed. Matches at 4pm on Mon & Wed.
