Cedar Falls Schools is a member of the High School Esports League (HSEL) for the 2024-2025 school year. Players will have the opportunity to compete in a Fall, Winter, and Spring season throughout the school year. If you are interested in playing in the Spring Major Season, please complete this form.

The Spring Major Season will begin on February 24th, with the Preseason and team meetings starting the week of February 10th.The season will run until the middle of April with the playoffs happening during the following 3 weeks. The schedule of which day players will compete will depend on which game they are competing in. Each game has a designated day of the week for competing.

We will compete at the CF Ambush Arena located on the bottom floor of Cohesive Creative and Code, Inc. at 807 East 18th Street, Cedar Falls, IA 50613. Contact Coach Brian if you are only able to compete from home. You will need to have the needed equipment and game licenses.

The following is information regarding the games that will be offered during the Winter Season.

• Fortnite Zone Wars: Free license (All Platforms) Team of 2 Needed. Matches at 4pm on Wednesdays
• Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: License Provided (Nintendo Switch) 1v1. Matches at 4pm on Mondays
• Chess Free License Provided (PC) 1v1. Matches at 4pm on Mondays
• Marvel Rivals (All Platforms, Team of 6 Needed. Matches at 4pm on Tuesday.
• Valorant: Free license\,( PC Platform), Team of 5 Needed. Matches at 4pm on Wednesdays.
• Rocket League: License Provided if Needed (PC Only), All Platforms, Crossplay compatibility between platforms, Team of 3 Needed. Matches at 4pm on Thursday.
• Apex Legends: Free license, PC, PS4,, PS5, XBox, Nintendo Switch. Team of 3 Needed, Matches at 4pm on Thursday.
• Mario Kart 8 Crew: License Provided (Nintendo Switch), Team of 4 Needed. Matches at 4pm on Wednesdays
• Rainbow Six Siege License Provided (PC, Team of 5 Needed. Matches at 4pm on Thursday
• Super Smash Bros. Crew  License Provided (Nintendo Switch) Team of 3. Matches at 4pm on Thursdays
