Journalism

The school yearbook is produced and sold by students in the yearbook journalism class. Working in a laboratory situation, class members design the content, format and theme. Students take, develop, and print all photos for the yearbook and use computers to produce pages.

Dear Parent or Guardian,

We are offering this year’s full-color yearbook for just $55 if we receive your payment before the holiday break (Dec. 22). There are three ways to order.

First, the easiest way to pay is through contacting Chelsea in the main office at the high school. Just include the payment for the yearbook along with all the other fees due at the beginning of the year. Another way to pay will be at registration where we will have a table before school starts in August. A third way to pay is to mail the payment to the yearbook staff. You simply need to send your check or money order with a note of whom the book is for in the memo line. Make the check payable to Cedar Falls High School and send it to this address:

The list of confirmed yearbook orders will be listed on Infinite Campus for each paid student after we deposit the payments.

Orders for the yearbook will be $55 before holiday break. Any orders postmarked after the holiday break, Dec. 22, will be $60. On Friday, April 28, 2017, we will stop taking yearbook orders entirely because at that time we will need to confirm with our printer how many total books to run off the press.

The 2016-2017 yearbook will be available for pick up at class registration next fall. Dates will be announced on the high school website when they are known, and after that date, the books can be picked up at the switchboard in the principal’s office of the high school.
